A QR code that opens your Instagram profile turns a flyer, a shop window, or a product tag into a follow. Instagram has its own built-in code, but making your own gives you your logo, your colors, and a high-resolution file you can print at any size.

Step 1: Get your profile link

Your Instagram profile link is simply:

https://www.instagram.com/yourusername

Replace yourusername with your handle, without the @. Open the link in a phone browser to make sure it lands on the right profile.

You can link to other things too. A specific post or reel has its own link (tap Share, then Copy link), which is handy for a launch or a giveaway post.

Step 2: Make the code

  1. Paste the link into the QRforLess generator.
  2. Choose Dynamic if you might change your handle or want the code to point to a different post later. You'll also get a scan count, which tells you which flyers or locations actually work.
  3. Add your logo and pick a dark brand color for the dots. See QR codes with logos for what keeps them scannable.
  4. Download SVG for print or PNG for digital use, and test it with a couple of phones.

Instagram's built-in QR code vs. your own

Instagram can generate a code for you from your profile's share menu. It works, but:

A code from QRforLess opens the same link in the Instagram app (or the browser if the app isn't installed), with your branding and a print-ready file.

Ideas that get scans

Pair the code with your @handle in text. Some people prefer to type it, and it reminds everyone whose account they're about to follow.

The same approach works for TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, or LinkedIn: copy the profile link and paste it into the generator.
